Pelling is the second most visited hill station in Sikkim, after Gangtok. The main attractions are the stunning Khanchendzunga Waterfall, Pelling skywalk, and the newly constructed beautiful Titanic View Point. There are several tourist attractions in and around Pelling. This town is famous for its well-organized souvenir shops with amazing collections of local traditional gift items.
This is one of the most splendid treks in Sikkim. Barsey Rhododendron Sanctuary is home to hundreds of exotic Rhododendron flower species. The best time for this trek is March to May. The astonishing beauty of various splendid Rhododendrons makes every trekker of this route amazed.
Goech La Trek is the most visited trek route in the entire Sikkim. Every year, an enormous number of trekkers from around the World visit Goecha La. Yuksom, the ancient capital of Sikkim, is known for its alluring landscapes and snow-capped mountains. Regarded as the 'Third Eye of Sikkim', the town holds religious importance given the monasteries and rich history of Sikkim related to this place. The first king Chogyal or king of Sikkim took this place, and the throne used for rituals still exists. It is an important stop for the Buddhist pilgrims. It is an ancient town and if you are going to visit then definitely you should go for it.
Uttarey is a small village in West Sikkim very closed t the Nepal border. it is 30km from the popular destination Pelling. This place is famous for tranquil and its natural beauty. The offers you a scenic view of the Himalayas mountain and it is less traveled by the tourist, In the winter all the mountains are covered with snow and the travelers get a chance to witness the magical view of the mountains from this region.
This is another small village in west Sikkim sitting against the backdrop view of Mount Kanchenjunga that plays a perfect role to host the Rhododendron festival every year in March. It is located 59km south of the district headquarters of Geyzing. This village offers you a beautiful view of a flowering bloom from the month of march to April.
Chaaya Taal would be the perfect gateway from the city to urban life. It is located 32km from the well-known popular hamlet Pelling. This is the perfect destination and it is the newfound off-beat destination that is still untouched by many travelers. The place offers you an immensely beautiful view of mountains, and waterfalls, and can be seen many birds, dense forests, Monasteries, etc. If you want to venture into this untouched place you should come.
The picture square view of Okrey is also the gateway to the Rhododendron sanctuary. As flowed by every year from mid march to May, many travelers travel here to witness the majestic beauty of the Rhododendron that shades colors in every forest and turns from Pink to Red. Everywhere you look you will find the pleasant view of flowers the appealing temperature clear sky. That's what makes Okrey beautiful.
Rinchenpong is a beautiful small town in West Sikkim from Gangtok it only takes 2 to 3 hours to reach this town. The town is less crowded compared to other popular places like Gangtok and Pelling, So if you want to enjoy your vacation in a peaceful way far away from the city noise. Then this place is going to be perfect for you.
